How to make a Rakhi

Rakhi is generally decorated with silk thread. This Rakhi may be the simple thread or it may be the decorated with the beads, religious symbols or else studded with jewels. Here are the few tips on how to create your own Rakhi. There are so many ways to prepare their own Rakhi.

1.    Material required:
Silk thread multi coloured
Beads, sequins
Scissors
Cotton thread
Glue
Take a bunch of silk threads for multi colour incase if you want the colourful Rakhi. You can use the strand or two of golden threads. These threads should be around 30 long. Fold the length of thread bunch to half and tie the knot one fourth of the length by using the cotton thread. Just cut the loops of the folded thread and fluff the open ends with the tooth brush. Next divide the longer part threads in to two equal parts and tie ends with the cotton thread sand fluff open ends. Decorate upper part with the sequins, religious motifs or beads arrange them in the specific way cut them to a suitable length.
2.    Take the 50 long threads and fold at middle plate the thread and tie the cotton. At the middle stick the religious symbol and you want to decorate the Rakhi with moths’ beads.
3.    Knot thread uniquely and put beads in thread in the middle of thread and put the locket. At last tie the both ends.

4.    Make the Rakhi with empty frame in round shape so that girl can put her picture in frame. This will give the good impression between the relationships.
5.    Instead the traditional Rakhi just use varied fancy silk or net by doing running on the side of rectangular piece. By stretching the thread on one round base which look trendy and also different. To make it more beautiful add the layers in the different colour.


6.    Teddy Rakhi: Take the piece of old T shirt and fill with the cotton.  Just fold in round shape and stick the black beads foe eyes and red for lips. Now just take the bigger cloth and filled with cotton in the shape of teddy body and put sparkles to make the dress colourful. Now attach the face and body with the thread and for wrist you take the small ribbon.
7.    Gold and silver coin Rakhi: First take three colours of thread like gold, red or silver and take the gold or silver coin from shop and take the silver cloth can attached with threads. And make the knot as you convenience but not in the middle that can be joining for the coin for net cloth and leave the thread open on the two ends.
8.    Durable Rakhi: Take the thread and make the circle of rudraksha beads and to this circle of beads join the laces hook to tie. This makes your brothers spiritually good.
9.    Biscuit and Chocolate Rakhi: First take the Mari gold biscuit and paste the two cherries at the place of the ears. Two gems of chocolate red colour at the nose and eyes. Paste the chocolate at place of tie and paste the satin thread behind biscuit.
